The Career Pilot Program is built for students ready to approach flight training with discipline, consistency, and long-term career goals in mind. Through semester-based training and accelerated progression, students complete advanced ratings and instructor certifications in a streamlined training environment.

Program Overview

Your Training Timeline

Fall Semester

September – December

Students begin the program focused on instrument and commercial training.

September 7, 2026 – December 18, 2026

  • Instrument Rating (IFR)
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate (CAX)

Winter Break

Scheduled break between semesters before transitioning into advanced commercial and instructor training.

Winter Semester

January – April

The winter semester focuses on multi-engine and instructor certifications.

January 4, 2027 – April 16, 2027

  • Commercial Multi-Engine (CAXME)
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)

Graduation Ceremony

April 21, 2027

Students completing the program will participate in an official graduation ceremony recognizing their achievement.

Summer Track Opportunities

Continue Building Experience

Students may continue training during the summer track for additional certifications and experience-building opportunities.

Available Summer Training

  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)

Additional scheduling and availability details are provided during enrollment and advising.

Admissions Process

Competitive Application-Based Enrollment

Admission is selective and based on application review and program fit.

Enrollment Deadline

August 15, 2026

Acceptance Letters Mailed

Week of August 23, 2026

Students will receive either an acceptance letter or a rejection letter through mailed notification.

Requirements & Tuition

Tuition for the Fall 2026 term is due on September 7, 2026

Students are encouraged to finalize financing approvals before the start of the semester to ensure successful enrollment.

  • Resume
  • Copy of pilot logbook
  • FAA certificates and ratings
  • Current medical certificate
  • Financing approval documentation
  • One-page essay explaining why you would be a strong candidate for the Career Pilot Program
  • Two letters of recommendation
